Taiwan's 2022 domestic travel subsidy officially launched on 15 July! This year's Tourism Bureau "You Yo Taiwan" subsidy scheme covers independent travellers, group tours and theme parks alike — group tours can receive up to NT$30,000 in subsidy per group, theme park tickets get a 70% discount, and independent travellers can claim up to NT$1,300 per night off accommodation. The goal is to give domestic tourism a boost through these subsidies. The scheme runs from 15 July to 15 December, or until the allocated budget runs out — so make the most of it this summer!
